I didn't say that pastor should live in luxury, only that they should have a nice house and car. No where in the Bible does it say that have to take a vow of poverty. I volunteer at my for my church, but I'm not on call 24/7. My pastor is. I don't get calls in the middle of the night or early in the morning from people in need. Ministers do more than just preach on Sunday. Money I tithe to my church goes toward ministries to help people in need, maintaining the church and yes, paying my pastor's salary. I would argue that more pastors are educated than not.
A pastor is a professional just like a doctor, social worker or teacher. The ones I know are highly trained for what they do. And many, such as my pastor, have second careers. Paul and Jesus didn't own homes. They also didn't have families to take care of and they didn't have health insurance or a dependable car to get them to their ministries.

Credit unions beat commercial banks hands down. Since the recession, credit unions are the only banking institutions left that offer FREE checking accounts. And, like @QuietStormX said, credit union rates can't be beat.

I've always dealt with Credit Unions since I started working as a teenager. They don't charge you to use your Money they use to invest and keep, credit unions give it back with rates and services banks don't match at all.

I don't know anybody in my family who can't cook simple meals: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. My father was a better cooked than my mother, but my mother usually prepared meals for us.
To cut a long story short, I learned how to cook at early age. By the age of 18, I could cook without doubting my ability to make good meals. When I got married, I didn't really cook meals. I told him that I only knew how to boil eggs, lol. My husband and I were dining out frequently. Eventually, I got fed up with our rituals. As a result, I decided and committed to make meals for us. I have been preparing meals at home regularly for a few years. I discovered that I enjoy cooking for everyone. I mean, I truly love taking care of my husband and daughter. We do still eat out on our special occasions.

My husband deserves me. He has been a good provider, husband, lover, dad to our daughter, etc. Yes, he can be an ahole or a jerk, but that doesn't bother me at all. I don't expect him to be a perfect man.

In addition, he has tried to cook for me, too. LOL..Ugh, he is not so good at it. I told him to stick to things he is good at.

These cookies are simply the best. Perfect proportions. My husband (not a big cookie fan) asks for them just about every day, so I guess they're a going to be a fixture in my house. I have hunted through so many black dolls and the vast majority look unhappy, pouty frowning, or more sexualized with parted lips and half closed eyes. Other Barbies look happy and carefree. They are all very beautiful but the expression does not reflect a happy person. A lot of people say "but she looks so fierce!" and I agree, and while for an adult this attitude is a perfectly valid expression of confidence, children see beautiful women and beautiful dolls and want to emulate them. Being "fierce" and angry and pouty is not what children should be focused on, they should focus on being happy. I'm not saying I would want my daughter to have dolls with completely blank, vapid, doe eyed expressions, just happy ones.

This I a tragedy they already DO NOT TEACH NOR TELL TE FULL TRUTH of our history and I am tired of looking at white people cast as black positive images that WE NEED TO GET out of more so that they an combat the negative images they ALWAYS consistently put on the screen about black people.
